Pay Per Click Search Engines
With pay
per click search engines you only pay per quality visitor to your
website. Yes it is still possible to bring unqualified visitors
to your website with pay per click, which is why you will want to use
what is called a negative qualifier. You
see if you are paying $1.00 per click to your website you are not going
to want to bring in just any traffic. This is where the negative
qualifier comes in.
A negative qualifier would be for example listing the price for the highest priced product on your website.
If you are selling wheel rims for a car you may want to list the price
for the most expensive wheel rims in your ad. That way you are
getting people to your website that expect to spend money and not get
something for free.

selling. You create your own ads, choose keywords and pay only when
someone clicks on them. AdWords also provides search results for top

Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly
Overture) is the grand-daddy of all pay-per-click search engines.
Originally just a standalone search site called "Goto.com," the company
was renamed Overture and quickly grew to dominate the burgeoning pay
per performance market by partnering with some of the top names in
Internet search including Yahoo!, MSN and Alta Vista. In 2003, Yahoo!
acquired Overture and in 2005, the PPC search provider was re-branded
as "Yahoo! Search Marketing." With a single Yahoo PPC account, you can
appear at the top of the search results on Yahoo, MSN, Alta Vista,
Lycos, AllTheWeb, and dozens of other smaller search engines -- at
least 75% of the internet search market. And since it is based on the
pay-per-click model, you will only pay for each visitor to your site.
